The PIMA Division is collaborating with Paper360 this year to put together a panel representing the global presence of the industry.

Steve Henry
VP Business Analysis & Strategy
Domtar

Steve Henry joined Domtar’s Pulp and Paper division in August 2011. Prior to his current position, he was Mill Manager of Domtar’s Hawesville, Kentucky location. Mr. Henry has over 20 + years of Pulp & Paper experience with International Paper, Weyerhaeuser, and GP, serving in both mill manager and corporate roles.
Domtar’s Pulp & Paper division operates a network of 13 mills in the United States and Canada and sells pulp and paper in more than 50 countries. With annual sales of approximately US$1.5 billion, Domtar is headquartered in South Carolina, US. Learn more at Domtar.com.


Ismo Nousieninen
CEO
Metsa Fibre

After more than 15 years at the company, Ismo Nousiainen took the helm as the new CEO of Metsä Fibre at the beginning of 2018. Nousiainen assumed this new role after formerly serving as SVP Production. He was already appointed deputy CEO of the company in August.


 

Andreas Tuerk
Senior Vice President Paper and Water Chemicals
BASF

Andreas Tuerk was born in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, in 1964. He graduated 1993 from the University of Tuebingen, Germany, with a business degree. Andreas Tuerk joined BASF in 2009 as part of the CIBA acquisition. Since 2016 he is leading the Global Business Unit (GBU) Paper and Water Chemicals part of BASF’s Performance Chemicals division.


Berry Wiersum
CEO
Sappi Europe
 

Mr. Wiersum joined Sappi Europe in January 2007 as Chief Executive Officer Sappi Europe. He started his career at ICI Fibres, held the position of President of Amoco Fabrics (Europe) followed by President of Amoco Chemicals (Europe). Following the takeover by BP, he joined BP to assist with the integration of the two groups in Europe. He then joined Pechiney SA in France and ran the CEBAL packaging division until he was recruited as Managing Director of the Packaging Division of Kappa Packaging BV (The Netherlands) and member of the Management Board responsible for paper manufacture and packaging in the Kappa group. Mr. Wiersum was Chairman of CEPI (Confederation of European Paper Industries) from 2009 – 2011. In 2017 he was named RISI's European CEO of the year and International CEO of the year at the PPI awards.
